Olympic theme in Google logos through the years

One of the main rules Google sticks to is their search engine logo to reflect a current significant event/topic/idea. The implemented graphic elements are decorative and changeable so that Google logo can be involved in the current anniversaries or worldwide events. Typical examples are the Olympic games to which Google has been showing great appreciation for a decade. Below, you can find all Google logos inspired by the Olympic theme – since the Summer Olympic games in Sidney in 2000 till this year’s Winter Olympic games in Vancouver.
