On Friday, a Microsoft spokesperson announced that, as expected, the company is planning to finalize the work over Office 2010 next month. Besides, Microsoft will start developing a program allowing those who will buy Office 2010 in the next few months to get a free upgrade to the new version. In a blog publication, it’s explained that the company will have a business launch for the Office 2010 products on May 12. It’s added too that software is expected to be broadly available in June. The most common browsing Internet Explorer is officially recognized as dangerous

A few days ago the German Federal Agency for safety IT sphere announced that the world’s most popular browser Internet Explorer (6,7 and 8) had occurred to be dangerous for the computer when used for website surfing. IBM opens new a cloud laboratory

IBM keeps on with its investment in cloud computing. Now, the company has established a new laboratory in Hong Kong. With this lab, IBM expands the presence of its IBM China Development Laboratory (CDL) – the company's largest laboratory with more than 5,000 developers on staff. The laboratory builds on the e-mail technology of the Hong Kong-based company Outblaze Limited. Its messaging assets were acquired by IBM earlier this year and they were incorporated into the Lotus brand. Bing Maps Beta offers much more images

Microsoft has improved the Bing Maps performance to a new level interactivity. This is what the new beta version of Bing Maps shows – it uses Silverlight to display 3D images and its own version of street-level images. The company presented to the media the new beta version in Wednesday during a discussion of other improvements to the search engine. Bing Maps Beta is available from today. Along with it, several other new features in the main Bing search results are released too. An Asus netbook is already entirely multi-touch

Last week, Asus presented to the public it new device – the company’s first multi-touch netbook, the Eee PC T91MT.
