You may have heard of fractal art. What’s typical for this art is the fact it’s very beautiful and has complicated graphic design. This kind of art is usually created indirectly with the assistance of fractal generating software, which calculate fractal images and displays the results as pictures, animations, music, etc. To make it more clear, here’s the definition of a fractal: it’s a complicated geometric object that has 2 main characteristics – it’s self resembled and its lines are detailed. Fractal art is usually generated by fractal generating software which has 3 stages: setting parameters of appropriate fractal software, executing the possibly lengthy calculation and evaluating the product. In some cases different programs such Photoshop are used for additional editing. It’s called post-editing.
